One day after the incorporation of Smartmatic Corp. in the state of Delaware, Alfredo Anzola incorporates Bizta Corporation declaring in the articles of incorporation the same shareholders of Smartmatic Corp.

Thus begins the short history of Smartmatic’s sister company who buys the totality of the shares of Bizta R&D Software, C.A. where its main shareholders are its direct partners in Bizta Corp. and Smartmatic Corp.

On June 10, 2003, in an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting “BIZTA R&D SOFTWARE, C.A.” offered to SOCIEDAD DE CAPITAL DE RIESGO VENEZUELA, C.A. “SCR” – FONCREI the amount of three million convertible nominative shares.

Antonio Múgica Rivero, Antonio Múgica Sesma, Eduardo Correia, Alfredo Anzola, own 1,075,000 registered shares and Fondo de Crédito Urbano (Foncrei) owns 3,000,000 registered shares represented by government official Omar Montilla.

The government shares were established within the documents and were not initially assigned seats on the board of directors.

The Board of Directors of the Venezuelan subsidiary of Bizta Corporation is structured as follows: President – José Anzola, Vice President Eduardo Correia, Director Antonio Múgica Sesma (Father).

In statements made on October 8, 2003, Jorge Rodriguez, member of the National Electoral Board stated that the new company that will develop the electoral software will hand over total control of the same to the National Electoral Council.

In a Shareholders’ Meeting held on December 15, 2003, a new Board of Directors was appointed, appointing Alfredo Anzola as President, Eduardo Correia as Vice President and Omar Montilla, representative of the Venezuelan government, as Director of the Board of Directors.



Granting it the power of decision during the process of creation and delivery of the electoral software SAES, property of the Venezuelan government, as established in the audit report of the European Union of the year 2005.

Bizta Corporation ends its activities in 2004 according to annual reports and does not report major activities, except for those executed for the National Electoral Council in the creation of the electoral software of Venezuela, SAES.
