“Smartmatic has stood behind all the results of the elections held in Venezuela from 2004 to 2015, regardless of what political party won,” the company says in a public statement.
“When President Chavez won in 2004, we did not hesitate to endorse those results based on the many safeguards of our platform and the multiple audits that were carried out. This has always been the case in each and every election thereafter, including when President Maduro won in 2013 by a razor thin margin, or when the opposition won the majority of the National Assembly in 2015.” (Emphasis added)
Now, though, it says that the July 30, 2017 elections were “tampered with” and it does not stand by results.

1. Is Smartmatic endorsing the Venezuelan regime’s widely documented electoral fraud from 2004 to 2015, to include endorsement of Chavez and Maduro consolidating their dictatorship through Smartmatic voting machines?
2. What does Smartmatic mean by “multiple audits carried out”? Who carried out those audits, when did they do it, and under whose supervision?
3. What does Smartmatic mean by Maduro winning the Smartmatic-administered vote “by a razor-thin margin?” How can that apply to elections in the United States run on Smartmatic software?
