In announcing its acquisition of the assets of Sequoia Voting Systems, Dominion says it “has acquired Sequoia’s inventory of Smartmatic software,” without mentioning Smartmatic by name.
“As part of the transaction, Dominion has acquired Sequoia’s inventory and all intellectual property, including software, firmware and hardware, for Sequoia’s precinct and central count optical scan and DRE voting solutions, including BPS, WinEDS, Edge, Edge2, Advantage, Insight, InsightPlus and 400c Systems,” the Dominion release says.
Dominion does not disclose in the release that the itemized software is the property of Smartmatic.
